‘Contract by deed’ is a deed of formal legal evidence that is signed, witnessed and delivered to create a legal obligation and for ‘Simple contract’ is a contract that are not deeds. They are informal contract that can make in many ways such as orally, writing, and conduct.

Are contracts between friends legally binding?

In the case of business agreements, the general assumption is that the parties intended to enter into a contract. In social situations, there is generally no intention for agreements to become legally binding contracts (eg friends deciding to meet at a specific time would not constitute a valid contract).
